Two-Way Satellite Internet Service...
The two-way service is for Organisations who require a fast and cost effective two-way connectivity via satellite, either for Internet use or for private corporate networks. This broadband satellite service uses a small 'two way' VSAT satellite dish, which transmits and receives data at high speed to and from a satellite, which is linked to the Internet... No phone lines are necessary...

The satellite dish is mounted on, or near, your premises with a clear and unobstructed view of the sky to the south, inside your premises, the dish is connected by two standard coaxial cables to an indoor unit.

One-Way Satellite Internet Service...
The one-way satellite internet service is designed for individuals who require a very fast one-way satellite broadband internet service for web surfing and download capabilities, video streaming and web TV.

To access the service you would use your dial-up internet service as usual to establish a normal internet connection. Once you have requested a page, a file or a stream is made via your dial up connection, all data is first gathered on the internet, and then sent directly to you at high speed via the satellite link. Using your standard Internet browser you can surf the web at unprecedented speed. Use your satellite connection for ultra fast downloading of files and software or watch streaming videos using your streaming media player.

You will also have access to a number of free to view channels as well as subscription-based channels. It is the responsibility of the user to contact the channel provider to subscribe if viewing a channel that is subject to a subscription fee. All you need is a PC (preferably Pentium lll or higher) and a standard internet connection via Modem or ISDN. Once connected to the satellite dish and USB-box (or DVB-IP card), your system is upgraded into a broadband multimedia system.
